> — Cory Barron was an unbelievable DJ, and I couldn't recommend him more. He is incredibly Recently Married professional and mixed music perfectly. Before game day, he hammered out a precise timeline, including items that we didn't consider. He asked all the right questions and followed our requests to the T. He was definitely responsible for making the night flow flawlessly. I don't regret hiring a wedding planner one bit. This guy is on top of everything. 'A few specifics: the night before the wedding, we found out the venue (Ringling) failed to inform us of power limitations, but he remained cool and calm and came prepared with backup equipment (all of which turned out okay on wedding day). Throughout the wedding he checked in with us to make sure we were happy. He coordinated with the photographers and videographers before all big moments to make sure they were prepared before anything happened (something I didn't consider myself). He even made sure staff were bringing us drinks. I really wanted to maximize dance time, and he recommended a game plan, and executed it flawlessly. Music was great and he refrained from playing music that resembled our do not play list...amazing. 'The guy is a professional--both wedding and actually mixing music (I believe he has actual club experience). Hire him.

When I needed advice on lighting, we helped to get us a deal through the company. He also made sure to take care of us...going far beyond DJ services. He worked hand and hand with all of the other vendors to keep the reception going smoothly.

> Our DJ was Cory Barron. I was very pleased with him from when I first saw/heard him at a wedding vendor display. Very professional looking and sounding. He had familiarity with our venue which made for an easy setup. The price was fair even when I asked him to extend an extra half hour because everyone was having so much fun. I'm 29 years old so I wanted someone close to my age so he would be in tune with some good new music. At the same time he was very familiar with all the classics like our first dance, Stand By Me. It was an awesome party. I asked Cory to keep the energy high and he did just that. Many of our guests said the wedding was the best they have been to and I think Cory was a huge part of that. Cory was so thorough in preparing the songs and making sure each song was what we wanted, which was right in line with the level of involvement that I wanted. My work schedule is very busy so Cory found time to meet with me at night and even via text messages. He was very flexible with last minute changes and even staying an extra half hour. I also received positive feedback about Cory from other vendors onsite the day of our wedding. I would recommend him to anyone and will call him first for any future parties I need a DJ for. He requested a face to face meeting months before our wedding so that he could meet us in person and also to get a feeling for what type of wedding my husband and I wanted. At our meeting, Cory had mentioned uplighting for our reception site and then at another date met me at the Lion's Eye Institute so that I could pick exactly what color of lights I wanted for the reception. Then our wedding day had finally arrived. Cory was certainly he master Of ceremonies. He prepared 'our music for the ceremony which was perfect. He had microphones for our officiant and my husband so that our guests could hear us speaking over the foutains . After the ceremony he quickly left and arrived at our reception site. He started off our party by informing our guests of what to expect. He kept the party flowing with contemporary and easy listening music during dinner and then changed it to classic rock, top 40s, 80s......all that we had rerquested. He was awesome. Cory even helped clean up after everyone was gone. I wouldn't have even known that because we were still out enjoying every minute of our wedding day. My mom told me that he helped break things down and take things out. Definitely, not part of his job but he did it with a big smile, Cory is very professional and TRULY enjoys his job.

I spoke with someone over the phone about what I wanted in a DJ and music I wanted to hear- they gave me a couple of choices and I had heard from other vendors Cory would do a great job. I then received a phone call from Cory to discuss what we wanted in a DJ and he was the perfect match. He is professional, enthusiastic and understood our like and dislikes. He called us 1 week before the wedding to have all details set regarding the wedding day. He had great music suggestions. My favorite thing about working with him was he sincerity and love of his work. The music was fluid and he announced various event throughout the evening without taking over or stealing the show. He is definitely there to make your wedding fun and memorable. We had hora loca which is crazy hour- an hour of dancing with masks and noise makers to Latin music-- he nailed it! With my family being Cuban and Venezuelan and my husband being American he also did a great job of keeping everyone interested and dancing all night.

People were coming up to us the entire evening saying they've never been to a wedding with a better DJ. I was a bridezilla in the truest sense of the word, and I provided with Grant Hemond and Associates with a giant packet of information on the songs we wanted and when and the orders of things, and Cory took every bit of it to heart and completely exceeded the expecations I'd set for myself. We loved that Cory touched base with us throughout the night and made sure all was going to plan. The music he played from my list kept my guests dancing all night, but the fact that he intermingled their requests really made our guests happy. We loved Cory so much, we would've paid double. He kept in touch with us all before the wedding day, even when a groomsmen was unable to make it, it rearranged everything and made it look seamless as though we'd planned it that way. I'd never have expected that a DJ could make or break your entire wedding. Cory kept our party going all night, and our guests continue to tell us it is the best wedding they've ever attended. Grant Hemond and Associates as also helpful in pairing us with Cory and were very responsive throughout this entire process. > My first impression with Grant Hemond was great. The girl i spoke with initially on the phone was 01/01/2011 super friendly and answered all my questions about their services. I was referred specifically to Cory Barron by my wedding coordinator which ended up being a perfect fit. We had a New Years Day beach wedding and Cory was very helpful in setting up the mic for the officiant and also helped out my good friend that was playing the guitar for the ceremony music. It was a huge relief knowing that he had everything lined up for the sound system, considering we were working with the elements of sand & wind. Cory was very polite and just has a respectful presence about him that my family & I really appreciated. He presented himself well when it came to making announcements and helping facilitate the first dance, speeches, etc. Most importantly he played the songs we had requested and kept all the guests grooving. Then at the reception, Cory got with all of us on how things were going to go. He made sure everyone was on top of what was needing to be done. He had everyone dancing all night long ... even my 85 year old Grandma, whom I have NEVER seen dance before!! We were very impressed and so glad we booked Grant Hemond and Cory when we did. I had all the information I needed within 15 minutes and after my 02/17/2013 experience with certain other DJ services just to get a price (never mind the hard sell forall sorts of other unwanted "upgrades" and add-ons), this one was a no-brainer. Hemond and Associates is 'prompt and professional and they set us up with DJ Cory who worked very well with our requests 'and more importantly, what we didn't want. He listened to our needs and even did some minor 'but very important song editing for us. Between our requests and his expertise and knowledge, we had a unique "playlist" that fit us very well. So many of our guests even commented on how 'reat the music was from beginning to end!

> 'Thank goodness our original DJ bailed on us because we got to have Grant Hemond and 06/17/2012 'Associates instead. It was 4 days before our wedding, when our DJ cancelled. We called our catering company and they immediately put us in touch with the Grant Hemond company. Within an hour, the receptionist found us a DJ and booked him for our Sunday nuptials. We got set up with Cory, who called us the following day to go over song selection. As I arrived at the venue, the set up was inviting and the lighting was spot on. From there, Cory ran the show, he was awesome! He kept the pace going, got the crowd involved, and when my mother single handedly tured the reception into a pool party, Cory went to his truck and got a portable speaker so the music could be heard pool side. He even helped McGyver my throw bouquet when it fell apart. Our DJ was Cory and he did a fantastic job. 7 Revere We went over everything before the wedding - and he made some great suggestions where we had holes (like the grand entrance song, etc). We asked him to basically keep the crowd dancing and he did just that! We had a huge crowd left atthe end still wanting to dance the night away. 'So many people told us it was the best or most fun wedding they had ever been to and I know 'the DJ had a lot to do with that. Cory also did a great job keeping us on schedule with the dinner/cake cutting/toasts/etc. You will not be disappointed with this company.

DJ, Gary Cradick, was our D3 for the ceremony and the reception. He truly 'made our reception the most fun and enjoyable event. We had so many guests and family 'members comment on how good he was. He is very personable and organized professional. I was impressed at how much he knew about the bride and groom. Cory gave GREAT recommendations for some of the other vendors I used, especially DD Bloom florist, Katherine DeMarco from Made for Each Other Weddings, and Affordable Catering, and I ended up using most of his recommendations. He was definitely responsible for making the night flow flawlessly. I don't regret hiring a wedding planner one bit. This guy is on top of everything. A few specifics: the night before the wedding, we found out 'the venue (Ringling) failed to inform us of power limitations, but he remained cool and calm and came prepared with backup equipment (all of which turned out okay on wedding day). Throughout the wedding he checked in with us to make sure we were happy. He coordinated with the photographers and videographers before all big moments to make sure 'they were prepared before anything happened (something I didn't consider myself). He even made sure staff were bringing us drinks. I really wanted to maximize dance time, and he recommended a game plan, and executed 'it flawlessly. Music was great and he refrained from playing music that resembled our do not play list...amazing. The guy is a professional--both wedding and actually mixing music (I believe he has actual club experience). Hire him.
